Fashion Design

Maria Fenton, a fifth generation British-Caribbean tailor, is the founder and creative director of the funk couture boutique firm: the House of EmmaEffa. Under her leadership, EmmaEffa has presented at New York Fashion Week. She is a part of the tradition of HBCU commitment to ushering in the new generation of industry professionals serving as a fashion design professor at Howard University.
